On May 11, 2012, Bloomberg Businessweek named  Woravit Chailimpamontri, GH Bank’s President as “New CEO of The Year”, at its “Bloomberg Businessweek Thailand Awards”. Dr. Luis Danai Kristhanin presented made the presentations at the Dusit Thani  Hotel.

These awards that recognize this country’s most successful business people are the first Bloomberg Businessweek awards presented in Thailand.

Woravit was recognized for his outstanding contribution to achieving the Bank’s main mission of providing dream homes to as many lower-and-middle income as possible through his leadership of a large organization that helped people access low-interest rate and low-payment home loans.

In 2011, GH Bank launched its first home project with 0% interest rate loans that helped more than 100,000 flood-stricken families.

      - “Best Deal of the Year” to Somjate Moosirilert, CEO and President, Thanachart Bank
      - “Lifetime Achievement Awards” to Dhanin Chearavanont, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Charoen Pokphand Group and Surang Prempree
      - “Private Company CEO of the Year” to Dr. Arthit Ourairat
