GH Bank and HomePro helps customers with two per cent post-flood housing renovation loans
GH Bank and Home Product Center Public Company Limited (HomePro) are conducting a “Return happiness to your home with GH Bank and HomePro” project for flood victims by offering home renovation loans at 2% per annum for five years. HomePro will provide an additional 5% of purchase value if customers receive loan approval from GH Bank and make purchases of up to Bt50,000. Customers can apply for these loans until March 30, 2012.
Woravit Chailimpamontri, GH Bank’s President and Khunawut Thumpomkul, Managing Director of HomePro announced that this new project will help many flood victims renovate their homes. As Thailand’s housing loan leader, Woravit said GH Bank was happy to develop this project with HomePro.
“GH Bank has already helped more than 60,000 flood victims by waiving certain debt repayments for up to six months,” he said.
Khunawut Thumpomkul, said that HomePro is helping flood-victims by providing an additional 5% in value toward their purchases if they use loan proceeds to buy products at 45 HomePro branches across the country. “We want to help as many flood victims as possible renovate their homes and in addition restore happiness to their families,” he said.
HomePro has helped flood victims by reducing product prices during the flood-crisis period and has also created a Bt10 million foundation to help flood victims by providing boats, relief bags and mobile toilets.
When the floods have receded, HomePro will be publishing a home-renovation manual for Thai home-owners. The manual will include a detailed check list on how to renovate houses as well as a do-it yourself Work Shop. HomePro will also be renovating 1,000 homes with the Department of Skill Development and Minister of Labor.
