The Government Housing Bank was created when His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej graciously signed the Government Housing Bank Act B.E. 2496 on January 9, 1953 and published it in the Royal Gazette on January 20, 1953.
The Bank, a special-purpose financial institution under the Finance Ministry's supervision opened for business on September 24, 1953, with its mission being to help secure appropriate housing finance for the general public. read more

Logo
GH Bank’s logo consists of symbols and letters. These two parts must be concurrently interpreted to present the Bank’s image of being an outstanding, modern, hospitable and sustainable housing bank. The Bank’s logo conveys movement with strong, balance, harmony and stability. The strong hands holding a house signify that the Bank intends to help Thai people own their homes. The logo’s overhanging triangle-shaped roof symbolizes the Bank’s full-service housing business. The logo’s orange colors convey warmth, heart-felt feelings and stability especially combined with the logo’s strong-weighted lines.
