Fixed deposit receipts (FDR) are a new form of deposit that GH Bank is offering to customers. Depositors can withdraw funds prior to the due date and still receive interest (Bank conditions applied).

Types of fixed deposit receipts
- Call Deposits
- Day Deposits : two types - 7 days and 14 days
- Term Deposits or Fixed Deposits (1-2-3-6-12 months and 1-2-3-5 years)
Terms of service
- Customers must open fixed deposit receipts accounts, fill in KYC form (Know Your Client Form) and submit required Bank information.
- Depositor’s name and deposit owner must be the same person. No pseudonyms can be used.
- Minimum initial deposit must be more than Bt100,000 and minimum additional deposits are not less than Bt100,000
- Call deposits are for juristic persons, finance institutions, government agencies and state enterprises. Minimum initial deposits, more that Bt1,000,000; and minimum additional deposits not less than Bt1,000,000
- One fixed deposit receipt for each deposit
- For term deposits; if depositors withdraw before due date, the Bank will pay savings interest rate (as of fixed deposit receipts opening date).
- If fixed deposit receipt is past the due date, the Bank will pay interest for the excess days at its current savings rate
- Call deposit interest rates will change with Bank announced rates (Call Float Rate)
- The Bank will deduct withholding taxes and send to Revenue Department
- GH Bank will provide fixed deposit receipts only at the Bank’s head office
- When customers redeem fixed deposit receipts at expiry date, they must sign and endorse the fixed deposit receipts and return them to the Bank. Bank will issued new fixed deposit receipts for renewals.
